Let’s talk sleep—not just the hours, but the quality. In June 2024, we at StepUp9 decided to get curious:
Why are so many of us feeling drained, foggy, and wide-eyed at 2 a.m.? So we ran an Exploratory Sleep Survey—117 voices, across cities and life stages. The results were eye-opening. Or should we say… eye-closing?

What We Found:

• Most people sleep for 7 hours… but only rate it a 3/5 in quality
• 45% can’t fall asleep easily, while 20% wake up mid-slumber
• 1 in 3 takes more than 30 minutes to drift off
• 75% feel sleepy during the day

And the cause?

A cocktail of stress, overstimulation, and emotional load—served nightly.
