
What’s Next on My Wellbeing Journey—and Maybe Yours Too

You know what’s wild?
A few months ago, I couldn’t go a day without hitting snooze five times, forgetting to drink water, or feeling guilty for needing rest. I kept thinking, “When did caring for myself become so complicated?”
So I started small.
I swapped my third cup of chai for warm water.
I whispered affirmations (quietly, because I wasn’t ready to say them out loud).
I even danced in my kitchen once—just because a song made me smile.
It felt silly… and kind of magical.
✨ And that’s how my wellbeing journey began.
Not with a big moment. But with a quiet choice to try.
🌿 Step 1: I Reflected
I looked back at the me from 3 months ago—exhausted, overwhelmed, and disconnected.
And I realized: I’m not her anymore.
Even though I still have hard days… I also have hope. I have tools. I have softness.
🔮 Step 2: I Checked in with All of Me
At StepUp9, we talk about the 9 aspects of wellbeing—because your body, your mind, your soul, your finances, your relationships… they’re all connected.
So I asked myself:
Which part of me is whispering for attention right now?
For me, it was emotional and purposeful wellbeing. I was doing a lot. But feeling very little.
So I paused. I journaled. I reconnected with my “why.” And that changed everything.
🌈 Step 3: I Picked a Joyful Challenge
Nothing complicated. Just one thing:
📝 Gratitude journaling—3 things every night.
Now it’s my anchor.
🌀 Step 4: I Shifted My Space
I decluttered one drawer (just one). I added a eucalyptus candle. I played mantras in the morning.
✨ My space became a mirror of my peace.
💌 Step 5: I Reconnected With My Why
I want to be present for my kids.
I want to feel joyful in my body.
I want to live with ease and aliveness.
Your “why” keeps you grounded—especially on the days you want to give up.
💫 Step 6: I Went Deeper
I joined the SleepShapers Journey from StepUp9. I started with the WhatsApp format (because #life).
Each day, I received one small nudge—just enough to keep going.
Later, I explored their Energy Healing & Counselling services. That’s when the shift became cellular.
💖 These aren’t just programs. They’re safe spaces to feel human.
🌟 Step 7: I Shared My Light
I told my sister.
I told my work friend who was burnt out.
I posted a story on Instagram about my new nighttime ritual.
And people responded. Because being real is magnetic.
